there's some flexibility. The old guys would rotate in and out with guys like NRob and Vesey

Can't afford what Roslovic is asking, TD is on a cheeeeap contract and doubtful we can go one for one to replace that. Love Crouse though not sure he's skilled enough to play up top with the big boys.

Pretty sure Roslovic's big ask isn't money, its time in the top 6. The Jets can't give him that but the Leafs can. I hate to trade TD too but its kind of a waste having him sit in the box when he could crack the top 4 on a team like WPG. We also need some cheap young guys that can play the top 6 if we want to keep that defensive line (which I love). But I can understand the hesitancy.

I think Crouse has another gear or two to give. I could see him being that Hyman-esque player on that like. Forecheking, physicality, and net front presence to balance out that line.

Ya you might be right with Roslovic, but if that's the case why not give Roberston a chance and keep Dermott. I guess Roslovic is a bit more proven but probably worth keeping Dermott. Ya I saw Crouse at the 2015 world juniors and damn was he ever hard to play against. Took him a few years to regain that advantage playing against men but form what I've seen he's gotten back to that level. Could compliment them well but I see him more on the third line, hem the opposition in kind of player.

fair. And you could always rework the lineup to put crouse on line 3. I think Robertson will get that opportunity at some point due to injury, but it's not worth rushing a prospect like him into that big a role imo. And if he's ready a bit later in the season then great, an even more elite F group.
