Description

Sounds like Pasichnuk will need time in the AHL by the way Boughner sounds in interviews. Knyzhov seems to be making a case along with Merk. Merkley is almost a lock IMO as the 2nd PP unit really needs a legit PP quarterback.

Sounds like John Leonard is all but a lock to crack the top six as a rookie, seems like he has taken over Donato's spot but Donato is thriving with Gregor and Nieto for a properly dangerous and fast 3rd line.

Makes sense. Boogie hasn't sounded too high on Pasichnuk but hasn't sounded negative either. Knyzhov makes sense to make the team if Simek is out but I wonder who QB's the Power Play on the 2nd unit.

no Merkley. I think Pasnichuk and Simek (when healthy) are the bottom pairing. Simek I'm guessing played in the lesser group today to be easy on his knee, and Pasnichuk is the partner so he joined him. Vlasic and Karlsson are together (tho I hate it) per Boughner is almost every presser.
