That’s a massive over pay by the Avs. In the short term you could easily argue Kadri is better than PLD especially in the 2C role for the Avs, and Newhook has every bit of future promise as PLD and is cheaper. I wouldn’t do Newhook Kadri for PLD and I sure wouldn’t do Compher and a 1st for Jenner.

Sakic isnt trading Newhook unless Barkov or Eichel is coming back, imo he is 70pt player in the making at 2C especially behind MacK. PLD hasn’t come close to 70pts. I really like PLD but I just don’t love him. He is going to be do another contract in 2 yrs and if he is still a 50pt player what do you pay him. I’ve said it before Newhook’s projected development dovetails so nicely with Kadri’s contract it doesn’t make a lot of sense to mess with. But as always I like your creativity

I agree with you. I saw that Eliotte Friedman mentioned Colorado in relation to Dubois (very casually though), and just thought I'd play with the thought. Colorado don't need to make any big moves. Just keep on track and let the team develop into a cup winner organically (a 3C would be nice though lol).
