stepan was just traded for a 2nd. If we're shopping him it's because we think we can get close to that value, if not more considering we can retain. He's not a cap dump, especially at 50%. Dorion's made some terrible pro-scouting decisions recently and can't afford to take an obvious L right now on that trade, let alone bring in a racist locker-room cancer to boot. Makes no sense to lose back to back trades featuring the same guy, acquire an asshole, lose a couple of picks for a still rebuilding team, and ultimately arguably make the team worse.
