Always hard to gauge the value of a first so far in advance, deal would have to be done at the draft. I would, however, have a hard time saying no to a pick in the 11-20 range.

I have a hard time believing StL would get a 1st. Toews got 2 2nds and Schmidt got a 3rd. I could see a 2nd and b prospect at most.

Def don’t disagree. I’m sure that they tried to move Leddy but most teams are cash strapped and have internal caps they are trying to maintain. I don’t see many teams giving up 1sts until the XD once they know how things will shape out. Maybe the TDL if moves need to be done for protection slots, but I think it would be part of a bigger deal (cap moves, player protects etc).
