Don't mean to hijack your post, but wondering if you might be able to give an outsider some insight about Sandin and Liljegren (Leafs are my second favorite team but I don't follow them quite as closely as I do the Rangers). I remember people saying they were the future of the Leafs' blueline but I've seen that neither have played this season. Still looking that way or have things changed?

Exactly, they are going with experience and letting lehtonen play a bit. They think he might be a legit top 4. Completely a contend mis issue. Lehtonen Sandin liljegren and Dermott all competing for one empty spot is a good thing. Lots of depth for injuries is good thing.

He’s changed his game up. More dmdefensive style. Has looked good for both marlies and leafscwhen called up. He and Sandin together look like they will form a good pair with lots of chemistry. I woukdn’t be completely shocked if one gets traded. The keafs seem to have their too four locked in for this year and next.

Another reason why Lil hasn't been up is how good Holl has played this year.
