Zegras isn’t even playing C in SD.

Much like the world juniors, Zegras' sample size isn't big enough to say if he's ready. The Ducks gain very little from calling him up right away, or this season at all. However they could completely de-rail his development if he isnt ready which is not worth it at all. We're rebuilding, re-builds require patience.

And like @Jah1722 says he hasn't been playing C in SD he's been playing LW. Let him get his feet under his body at LW in SD then move him to centre once hes more comfortable and he'll make the NHL out of camp next season, no reason to bring him up this year.
