Despite of what a lot of hockey fans think, you don't have to finish last to become a good team. It's just so big a climb to become contenders again. Gee, the Flyers look. like they have solid club. Going to have to give up more to get Trouba, like at least NHL ready players and UFA DelZotto doesn't count.

Haha you basically copied my roster from yesterday but added Trouba. There is no way I'd give up MDZ and Sanheim for Trouba when it's all about he money for him. What is Philly going to do when he is asking for a Bret Burns contract in two years? I'd rather have four guys that are looking for 3-5 mil than one guy looking for 8 mil and then being able to only afford three quality defenders.

First off, there is no way that we would need to give more for Trouba! Maybe it is a sign and trade with MDZ but Sanheim is a great prospect! Secondly, Trouba is not going to see anywhere near $8 per at least not until he is likely 30 and has proven he is worth anywhere near that. And finally, I didn't even see your team so I didn't copy anything.

Trouba signed a 1 year deal for almost 3 mil. His next deal will be up to 4 mil and by the time he is 24/25 he will be looking for a contract between 6-8 mil guaranteed. And sorry I thought palhal made this team and the only reason I said it was because he commented on my team. Anyway, no way I want Trouba. Secondly, yes you would have to give up A LOT more for Trouba. Ask any Jets fan on here. The only way this trade goes through is if the Flyers give up Ghost.
