This would be a total cap dump by the Oilers. No, they need an NHLer coming back. Rumour is, Sanheim has regressed. Still not sure on his NHL ability.

Pal,

You keep saying Sanheim has regressed? Why and where is the source? I've read his scoring is down but isn't that to be expected when you move from Juniors to your first ever year of professional hockey as a 19/20 year old. I mean he is the youngest player on the team being thrown into the fire. Yeah he probably isn't NHL ready, but he was one of the final cuts this year and right now I wouldn't surprised to see him make the team out of camp next year or at least serve as a mid-season call up

Id say no right now. Why? I think you already have too many centerman and you mess with the recent good chemistry not to mention that Schenn is very happy and playing better at center. Couts for Nugent Hopkins is more feasible but Edmonton would have to throw in an early draft pick.
