If I could get 1 player

Description
I love Tkachuk. He is so skilled, not afraid to get nasty, and is so hard to play against. This is a pipe dream, to say the least but I would love nothing more than the Bruins to acquire him so way somehow. I have to imagine Carlo would be in the deal but I just didn't want to trade him.
Let me know how the value is anyways, cause I think Bruins could add some more, or take out a piece for something else (I.E Carlo for Debrusk)

Would take a massive overpay. Probably to the point you wouldn't do it. He is that important to the team

If Wayne Gretzky’s trade didn't prove anyone can move, I'd say he is untouchable

Not sure if Kase makes value go up or down. Likely non-tender candidate.

I’d say add Frederic and Lohrei, but I like them more than most.

If there is a Tkachuk trade then it's a really really bad situation in Calgary, they'd be looking at a complete reset, at this point even if they're just looking at a rebuild Tkachuk on a long term deal still fits that window and shouldn't be moved. If they're burning down the house the farm and everything else around it then they have to look for a Top 10 pick a teams top prospect and U22 roster player that will be effective. It would be an astronomical price to see him move, in the description above your thought about Carlo is likely right and that would be a straight across hockey deal that the Bruins would still likely have to add to.

Carlo? Try McAvoy lol, the Bruins would be adding far more than you would want if you start with Carlo

maybe it is my bias, but I would say McAvoy has more value than Tkachuck. Mcavoy is playing at a Norris caliber level right now, tkachuck is not playing at an MVP level. I assume you are a flames fan and don't see the way I see it. But fine by me.

Its not what they are getting, its what they are giving up... really want 2 more years with no first rounder? I would go something more like Debrusk, Kase, Beecher, Urho, and a 2nd for Tkachuk. That covers the value aspect well (i always WAY overdo it so people cant call me a homer without looking completely wrong), and the flames and bruins both give up and get pieces they want / are willing to move

See I would way prefer that, but these keyboard warriors would all say no to that cause the 1st rounder are more appealing than these already drafted prospects.
