Keep Dubnyk or trade him elsewhere. Oettinger should be up to stay full-time & when Bishop comes back, those are our two goalies. Stars have both Landon Bow & Colton Point that fit the expansion draft requirements, so they don't have need for Dubnyk. Y'all can get more for him elsewhere

Stars do have Bow and Point, but if they also have Dobby while being forced to protect Bishop due to his NMC then SEA will be free to choose Dobby. Flipping Dobby for picks/prospects before SEA takes him for free would be the best case scenario. DAL's other option would be to bribe SEA to avoid Dobby, but that costs them something.

I love the idea of having Dobby in SJ for many reasons; he's a long-time friend of our vet and goalie coach, Nabby, we have a young, Russian goaltender who could use a mentor like Dobby, and he's just an awesome guy who our fanbase would shower with praise.

Oh I don’t disagree with the trade as a whole. I’ve got no issues sending Dobby to SJ. I just don’t see a the need for Dubnyk to be in this deal. Any package of picks/prospects would be fine & allows San Jose to get a return for Dubynk elsewhere.
