Not that I would expect you to post anything remotely intelligent, but the Devils actually played very well last night, and the statistics are there to back it up. Difference is Shesty played phenomenal, Blackwood and Dell stunk, and the Rangers capitalized on their chances.

Hockey is a funny game sometimes- but to say the result was "expected" is complete and utter nonsense. But again, considering you think Hischer and Hughes for Kreider, Kravtsov, Schnieder and 2nd is a fair trade, this is exactly the type of post I would expect from you

It was one game and I watched it. Rangers dominated from end to end. Hughes and Hischier were absent like they weren't even on the ice. And Severson may face fine or worse for his trip on Shesty. That was a cheap dirty move.

Well Hischier wasn't on the ice, because he's hurt, so there's that. and Hughes scored a goal/drove play consistently all night. You sure you watched the game?

The Rangers won cannot say anything about that but "dominated from end to end." Come on man the Devils almost doubled the Rangers shots, won more faceoffs, and had more PK time. The Rangers won but it wasn't like the Devils didn't have chances.

Also the reason Hischier looked "absent" was because he didn't play, out week-to-week with a sinus fracture.

Wouldn't have made a difference. Hughes goal was on a fluky bounce. Don't get too excited.

Again- the Devils cannot finish. Whether thats a product of talent, i am not sure. 8 goals in 8 games is lousy any way you cut it. But it wasn't due to a lack of opportunity last night, Shesty played amazing and sometimes you just have one of those nights where nothing goes your way. But the point is, play like this every night and good things will happen.

Yes Hughes's goal, the one where he outskated two defenseman and put it top shelf, was fluky. But kreiders where he had the puck bounce off of him twice and go in the net was pure skill. If I used the words I wanted to use to describe you I would end up banned from the site

You’re absolutely right- they should’ve won the first time these two teams met back in the beginning of the season.

I said this to a buddy of mine during the game- the rangers couldn’t score for 10-15 games, but it wasn’t because they were playing bad hockey, just had bad puck luck. Now we’re seeing the other side of the coin, where they get outplayed but can’t miss. It all has a way of evening out in the end.
