If our arm was twisted, maybe. Rees will probably be in the squad next season with all of our 4th liners becoming UFAs and Foegele may be too expensive with Dougie needing a new deal. Rees would fill the void left by those 4 more than Bokk.

I think the same reason why you wouldn't want to give up Rees is the same reason the Ducks would be adamant that it be Rees instead of Bokk. I'd have no issue with a bit of retention of it helped.

Side note: I'm going to start a "Sign Dougie" petition and hand deliver it to Bob Murray when the season is over. Good luck resigning him, because I'm coming hard for him! (I'm not doing any of these things, but I'd really like to sign Dougie).
