Description

Rangers could be cup contenders. if they sign someone like nuge, they will be better all around. hes a solid top6 center and with our young wingers having time to develop, they might shine with nuge as their center. laf and kakko will get even better, as will fox, miller, lindgren, and nils lundkvist. shestorkin will keep improving and our bottom 6 could continue being solid penalty killers. georgiev could be expandable at the draft if toronto is looking to buy if andersen will not resign for a reasonable price. and strome can get a return aswell as he is proving to be a solid piece to most teams so seattle could use him as their top 6 center.

the second one isnt a deal. its drafting. shouldve clarified but only the georgiev deal is a leafs trade

still, with proper wingers he would be great and thats why its a 1 year deal. to test it and if not, sell at the deadline like my part 2 says.

Georgiev isn't worth a first when he has an .897 sv, and he has a **** GSAA and GSAx. And don't give me the "well, the Rangers' D is trash" argument when Shestyorkin has a .921 behind the same D. This isn't last year, and Georgiev doesn't have enough of a record to suggest that he'll definitely rebound. Leafs pass.

Yes they have a ton of expiring contracts next year which gives around 20 mil in space I believe.
