It’s more than what we gave up for muzz. If it don’t get it done than move on to savard . 2nd round not a 1st. If not that’s fine and roll with what we got

Is it though? You're getting back Haula retained here too and not getting any compensation for that. And the deal was Muzzin for a 1st and two prospects (both 2nd rounders and one was in the draft just prior). Dermott isn't anything more than a bottom pairing defenseman (which NSH doesn't need) and who's to say on Abramov. Just not the right pieces to go along with the pick for Ekholm+.

If this is the best TOR can offer, then they're not getting Ekholm. This would be easily outbid by another team.
