Description

I doubt he gets minutes until after the trade deadline, because once he finishes quarantine, I expect him to go on the taxi squad first. Since I predict a post-deadline arrival, I'm gonna trade the two players who I think are most likely to get moved, as well as promote Barron and Reunanen for kicks.

Side note, I don't know what to do with Keith Kinkaid... I don't know if we'll waive him. And I know that absolutely no one wants to see Howden on the same line as Lafreniere & Kravtsov, but we won't throw Barron into the 3C that quickly.

I know you don't love strome but he just puts up points. Better to just keep him probably and move him in the offseason. You don't need the cap space.

Grinders like Lemieux are actually sold pretty commonly at the deadline. Perhaps not a 3rd but I expect him to net a midround pick.
I have to agree though he doesnt do anything other than hit lol. I'd even say Howden is better than him. At least he won't take ridiculous penalties

Blackwell's overhyped. He's barely done anything on offense since he had that string of goals. Pretty much a north-south skater who contributes to defence at this point. Like Rooney and Howdy.

I don't "don't love" strome? If someone needs center depth at the deadline I can see Strome as a good trade option.
That said, we probably would be more organized with him on our team until finding that elusive 1B center. I want Chytil playing with Laffy and Kravtsov... not Brett freaking Howden lmao

blackwell is significantly better on defense than anyone in the bottom six(except chytil) and he doesn't hurt offensive production. so he is the best 4th liner we have had in a long time.

That's a big overpay. Also Anaheim is just an arbitrary team. I'm not projecting him to go there. I'm projecting him to go somewhere for a 2nd + a C level forward prospect (like a Karl Henriksson level prospect)

His defence was fantastic in February for sure, and while it's still good (if not great), it's receded a bit. You can switch him with Rooney in my lineup and you'd be good either way.
