Think you would have to take Andersen rather than Hutch in the Leafs trade. You are taking a top 6 winger they would want to replace elsewhere and they dont have a ton of options in house. Thats going to cost cap space and right now the only real moveable way to do it is Kerfoot. Moving him and taking on another expensive goalie just handcuffs them for replacing Kerfoot by making them need to find a home for Andersen, ultimately probably paying to do it. Money shouldn't be a problem for it. You can take the cap hit and he's only earning 1 mil in salary this season with a fraction of that left to go. Seems to me like it would be a requirement from the Leafs to make the trade work and theres no real reason to say no.
