I would love it to happen but this notion that Tatar or Nyquist are going to bring in talent good enough on the blueline to help is very wishful thinking, imo they both need to be moved at the TDL for picks and low cost prospects and the roster needs to be rebooted. Green needs to be moved, Kenny needs a time machine and not sign Nielsen and Helm and instead take Chychrun in the last draft. The upcoming draft they might be able to get Liljegren at least. Having DDK, Liljegren, Ouellet, Sproul, and Russo on the blue line would be a nice start to a reboot, having Chychrun would have been great. The 2018 draft they need to eyeball Svechnikov's brother. This roster is at least a 5 year project and I am being generous with that. Holland needs to be cattle prodded any time he looks into signing anyone over the age of 27 if he is going to be around for awhile.

Paying 30 year old Oshie, who is 50 point guy a year, no more, 6 X 6 Awful. That's why Wings are in that position now. Can't resist paying guys and expecting them to be productive in mid 30s doesn't happen that much.

Kind of a waste to trade Jurco for a 4th to the Wild. He's a fringe NHLer, but he's young and cheap. It's unlikely you'll get better player in the 4th round. Don't see him cracking the Wild lineup at all for the 16-17 season.

No offense, but anyone who re-signs Miller and Ott needs to have their membership revoked from this site.

Only reason it shows Miller and Ott as "re-signed" is so I could show I traded them at the previous TDL. It's amazing how negative people can be on this site.
