I would love this deal as a leafs fan but I just don't see NJ taking this, because the one thing a rebuilding team always wants to hold onto is a young goalie so I don't think they would give him and severson up for basically Liljegren, who is basically a duplicate of Ty Smith with a lower ceiling.

In no way would the devils in a billion years make this trade. Let’s get rid of a strong young goalie and top 4 defenseman for a mediocre goalie and crappy prospects. I created a login strictly because you need to know how dumb this trade is
