Protect Lind over Motte. Also don't protect Myers

Really? I feel like Motte has been such a good bottom 6 forward, especially before he was hurt. Lind has been solid in the AHL, but no guarantee he'll be solid. Hopefully they give him a chance at some point just to gauge how he'll play.

Their PK was basically unchanged when he was injured so I'd rather keep the prospect with upside then 1 year of Motte

Lind is exempt because he hasn't reached the games played

Juolevi most likely will be exempt too. With the way Green is setting his lineup, he won't reach his games played.

They'll most likely go 8FD set up
Petey, Horvat, Miller, Boeser, Motte, Schmidt
then two out of Gaudette, Virtanen, and Pearson (if he re-signs)

A lot of people dont get that rule. No, he is not exempt. Seattle can select him.

Each team has to expose 2 forwards and 1 dman that have played a certain amount of NHL games and who are signed for at least next season. Seattle can still select anyone who is left unprotected, except for players in their 1st or 2nd pro years.
