That’s ignorant. He’s top 9 in points, top 2 in Ice time among Defensemen, Top 2 in hits among defense. He skates really well and is an excellent puck transporter. His points totals the last 3 years have been a lot like Oliver ekman Larsson and he’s previously been compared to josh Morissey although his defending and skating is better so look at what other defensemen make and 7 million isn’t out of the realm of possibilities.

He's making 5.5 now, with his numbers going up and getting better he'll make at least 6, or 7 on open market.
