I am definitely interested in what they do if Pietrangelo is out for the regular season. Although DeBoer doesn’t seem to think he will be.

I have a couple guys I would be interested in if he was though.

I think they should strongly consider just “faking” the length of his injury. Bring him back for the playoffs like Kucherov and the lightning and go out to get someone. They are definitely in the playoffs now, so no need to worry about that.

Even if they don’t, I think they should look at adding an “LTIR” type player.
