From what Frank Seravalli reported today seems like he will be hitting UFA. Dundon going to have to open his wallet for a change this offseason. Need to give Brind’Amour a big raise, pay Svech and Hamilton as well.

Face it. We gotta pick between him and Svech and we will keep svech. Bean or Pesce can fill his spot. Keep him for the playoff run obviously but either let him walk in free agency or the expansion draft. He is skating really slow on the powerplay because he is still recovering from his injury. Most guys usually take over a year after they start playing again to come back to FULL STRENGTH. It sucks and I want to keep him too. But hey his offense is still top notch and we can hold onto that for our playoff run and if we win the cup, he served us well. The truth hurts but in this situation you just gotta deal with it.

We gotta get something for him if he leaves I'm not saying deadline deal but maybe do a sign and trade with seattle. But yeah and then Don has to look to the future warren, brook, necas, turbo, aho, nino, and vincient all expire in the next 4 year so I see what you mean it will hurt seeing dougie walk but it has to happen
