Description
Draft Luke Hughes to eventually take the 2LD spot. Murray is solid, not flashy placeholder. Have Henrique/JVR there for goals until the next wave of scorers are ready to take over. Bring back Coleman who can play anywhere in the lineup and grind. If they are eventually going to use the cap space might be worth it to get Hamilton an elite defenseman. Capitalize on TB's cap issues to get Cernak, who can play opposite Bahl as a steady partner for him to get comfortable in the NHL.

    TB easy NO. TB has an abundance of fowards and their depth at RD is exactly 3 Cernak Foote and Rutta. Cernak and Foote are locked in future

    Ah shucks frown Enjoy him tho he is a really good player. I am curious though what tough decisions Tampa is gonna have to make to navigate cap even if Cernak doesnt end up being the casualty.

    Exactly. Before this season there were hockey analysts suggesting the Flyers would actually have to add a pick/prospect to move him with his cap hit. I think that is a bit extreme and his play warrants value but I can't see any team giving up much more than a 3rd for a 31 year old with that contract.

    I think we would definitely look at something like this. It may cost a 2nd or 2 3rds but as it's clearing cap space, I don't think we would need more.
