Description

One stop shop. Sell the 2021 draft and add leadership depth and get a pure foal scorer for Krejci. Great cup chances.

Krejci will take a discount next season if he’s going to play with Laine. Take that money and sign Laine long term. He’s got arbitration rights so can expect a $10M AAV if the Bruins win a cup with him... in 4 years, that will be a good contract if he performs to the level needed.

It would drive Pasta to be better. Both PPs would be lethal.

$20M left to sign the remaining players.

I think the Bruins can even do this without the salary retention. They might have to if CBJ can’t carry the salary for the remainder of the season. Would make the deal look even better without the retention.

It does leave the center looking pretty weak down the road but hope Studs and Beecher develop well.

Players going to CBJ give them some replacements to finish the season and tank a bit more improving their own draft pics.

Oilers fan here, but always had a soft spot for Boston since I watched them as a kid in 2011. This would be awesome!

Why? Both 1st are likely going to be late round picks. So essentially the Jackets are giving up their captain, an elite goal scorer, and a solid 3-4 RHD and retaining on all them for practically a bunch of picks that are all late in their respective rounds and a young player who has struggled on a good team? No, sorry not happening

Nice try but their is still a price for the rentals. After taking out the said rental price, it would end up being DeBrusk, Kuraly, and a 1st for Laine. Yea, that doesn’t get you Laine.

Considering Boston is considered to have one of the worst propsect pools in the league, it'll be tough to fix that without drafting next year.
