There’s an awful lot of really bad ideas here. Quinn alone is worth more than Garland, Bennett may be more valuable than Thompson but that doesn’t mean you have to throw in an extra second rounder. I don’t think the Devils would even accept Olofsson for Wood, which is fine because I wouldn’t do that. Mittelstadt has more value than Virtanen right now, you can have him for a draft pick and not even a good one. Vrana is a good player, but that’s a God awful trade. That first round pick is top five and worth more than him alone. You’re targeting some of the right players, but your return values are way off.

So you're saying Quinn isn't worth more than Garland, fair enough.
But Bennet is certainly not worth a 2nd much less a young nhl player and a 2nd. Thompson certainly has his issues and I would necessarily say his trade value his high but he still has a high ceiling but also a low floor. Seen a lot better play from him under Granato.
Don't know how you can day it's false about olofsson and Wood. He literally had both positions lol Devils don't do it and Sabres don't do it so I don't know what you're disagreeing with.
