    Yeah the odds that Cheveldayoff trades Trouba to another Western Conference team is slim to none, Talk is that he will only deal him to a team in the East and Trouba could command around $6.5 million per long term in another 4 years or so doubt the Wild can't afford another high priced D man they already have Suter at $7.5 million for the foreseeable future.

    Not too mention that 1st plus Kapanen for Spurgeon is a bit heavy IMO.

    I know Minny is playing well but come on! Is Jack Johnson, the purge of the earth to CLB fans pre this year, worth a 1st and a prospect now because he's plus 21? Sure their trade value has gone up but lets not get carried away.


    Edit: Just noticed the TML aren't actually that far off of a playoff spot! Lol anyways I was under the impression they were farther down then they are, so the draft pick would be looking like it would be pretty good. If the pick ends up being a playoff team pick, then by all means the deal isn't actually pretty good. Those lottery picks are valuable nowadays.
