Description

This will never happen but Oilers get Klefbom back, and Nurse comes with an extension. Young players are boxed out but nostalgia prevails. Andersen gets the Cory Crawford deal but doesn’t retire. This year there are no UFAs so Fitzy retains on all three players in the trade. Take this with a grain of salt, Devils are no bueno this year and making this was fun!

The Oiler wouldn't take that Nurse trade. Not even close to the value for a top pairing d man. And the Oilers have needed Nurse to take this step for a while, not sure they would do the deal even if Hischier were tossed into that.

A someone who watches every game he's been a #1 d man this season. He leads all d men in goals, has as many ESG as any other d man has total goals. Plays tough and has been good defensively, he's a top pairing guy entering his prime years.

But I don’t think Devils give away that package for 1 year of Nurse (a year that in all likelihood will still be a growth year).

I know this isn’t going to happen. Bratt and Zacha were left over from bringing back Rico, Zajac and Palms.
