Lets try another Eichel to LA trade

Created by: Lenny54
Team: 2021-22 Buffalo Sabres
Initial Creation Date: Apr. 18, 2021
Published: Apr. 18, 2021
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
If LA wants the 2021 1st protected then it goes to 2022 unprotected which I doubt they would do. Of course the draft picks either help with the prospect pool or could be used to move up in the draft or as trade currency as another goaltender is needed and maybe an experienced RW'er till Kaliyev or Quinn is ready. Once both Kaliyev and Quinn are both ready then maybe it time to trade Reinhart. There are maybe one or two holes to fill but we now have the currency and the cap space to do so.

Everything depends on what Eichel wants to do. If he forces Adams to make a trade, Adams will have to take the best offer out there, which might be a few top prospects and a pick. Byfield will not be included in a deal for Eichel.

Eichel can ask for a trade, but he can’t force one. Sure, you don’t want a player staying if he’s unhappy, but they won’t trade him for less than he’s worth. Besides, if he is available, there’ll be plenty of interest. He’ll fetch a good return. That said, I think trading him is a bad idea.
