COL might be stupid enough to do that.

STL doesn't need a mediocre goalie and if they did it would take way more than that.

MTL laughs haaaaaard at that deal. A 4th and a AHL lifer for a top 6 player?

But pens dont need shatty. We have letang and schultz. And that is overpayment for landeskog.

Fleury is declining, so his trade value is barely worth much anymore and he always choke in the playoffs. Maatta and Pouliot is not worth Landeskog. The 1st round pick doesn't help either because the Penguins for the next couple of years are going to have some playoff runs.

Dude went back to back to the Stanley Cup. Not sure how that's choking. He's still one of the better goalies in the game. (FYI his bad years in the playoffs only came when Sid and Geno were trying to do absolutely everything)

Youre all high if you think Fleury gets more than a 2nd in return. Their is no goalie market in the NHL, it is completely flooded with potential trade partners. Fleury's stats this year are terrible and every GM knows he benefitted from playing behind at least 4 HOF forwards and probably the same on defense Letang, Orpik, Gonchar, Goligoski, Scuderi. His bad years in the playoffs came when he didnt have half those guys on d
