Have you seen someone employed by an NHL franchise demand a third to take him on? How about using comparable cap dump trades to formulate an education guess on the cost to dump him?

Interesting, why does Detroit want to trade DDK? Why is Okposo > DDK in your mind? How did you come up a third to buyout the last year which results in 4.67M in dead cap and 2.67M in cash? We can use TDL retention to determine cap/cash in this manner or Marleau’s buyout. Prime example just happened with Detroit retaining on Savard which cost us roughly 200k for a fourth round pick.

What comparable? The Sabres have no need to dump cap, as I have repeatedly said, so with no desperation 0 teams are going to milk 2 seconds out of Buffalo to move him. So name the comparable

I'm going to end this conversation as politely as I can by suggesting, with the upmost respect, that you spend a little more time on reading and comprehension.

Interesting as you've been by far the most nonsensical

Post #23, is the first time and only time you said Buffalo doesn’t need to move him in this ACGM. Well into our conversation so I wouldn’t say “repeatedly”.

Detroit isn’t desperate to take him off your hands. We acquired Staal and a second rounder. Panik was added to the Mantha trade for rumored the second rounder or first rounder depending on the source. Those are just two comps from Detroit in the past year. I also provided a buyout comparable (Marleau) and a retained salary trade for another comp for your Okposo second year buyout comment. So again I ask, what did you base your Okposo > DDK and buyout compensation on?

Yes i was referring to outside 1 ACGM. Rangers needed cap space, Washington needs cap space, Toronto needed cap space, thats why those trades happened so not a single one of those trades are comparable to Buffalo and Okposo, Thats why I asked, name me a comparable

So I’m suppose to go through your entire post history to know what you said in other threads? Yes, teams moved cap and paid for it so they could acquire a better asset. If Buffalo doesn’t want to do it then fine but you asked for what it would cost, I provided comps. You also speculated about the cost of moving Okposo with a buyout which I provided comps to back up my comments stating it would cost more than a third. You’re the one that used a random ACGM to determine value...
