This is just not happening...TBL do have some upcoming cap issues- but these guys are very low on the pecking order to solve their cap situation. As far as NYR, as much as I like both Chytil and Kakko, I do think NYR would have to add considerably more to land both of these guys- to the point where NYR wouldn't do the trade...I mean sorry- Hajek adds little value to this trade and can't see TBL realizing that much value in this type of trade for a b/u goalie.

Lol its the complete opposite. Rangers get absolutely fleeced on this deal. I watch both of these teams on a regular basis, Sergachev is not that good to pull in this big of a haul and cirelly is just a good mid six center.

the value is pretty good on both sides. Idk if either team pulls the trigger but it's interesting to see, good job

My thought was...
Yzerman n TB were pressed hard to include Hajek in the McD deal, it cost NY JT Miller. TB may still think very highly of Hakek and would be cost effective.
McLheiny has looked terrible this year. Georgev would be welcomed open arms..
Kaako/Chytil offer young , high skill for cheap immediately.

Honestly, came to this to try and deal for Hedman... but can t imagine that package!!

I can understand... for most teams Sergachev is a welcomed PP QB.... obviously NY has that spot filled for a decade or so....

Personally, NY needs nasty hard nosed players to fill in around the talent on hand.
And a CAPTAIN....
but seriously, a leader... they are close.
Have to learn to win when pretty hockey isnt available to play vs any given opponent.

Im happy resigning B. Smith to a more accurate cap hit and letting kids come up as needed.

If you regularly watch TBL then I can only respect your opinion...but based on the comments in other threads (mostly involving a Cirelli trade) Tampa fans seem to value these two guys considerably more than you...I’d like to hear their take on this trade.

There's no chance in hell Julien Brisebios even considers especially Cirelli He's going to be a multiple Selke winner who puts in the 60-70 point range.
If there's a thought Sergachev"doesn't pull that much " he really doesn't watch him closely enough. Sergachev has been developing a serious nasty to his game.

Agreed- TBL would welcome Georgie...just not for the value he’d be putting into the NYR side of this trade...more simply- TBL would want more in return.

As far as Hajek- still only 23, but for the value he put into the McD trade- he has been a disappointment in his development- JG certainly didn’t pull the trigger hoping to get back a 6/7D in return

Good Idea on forgetting about Hedman he isn't waiving his NMC he resigned the first day he was eligible to on a club friendly contract, because he wants to be here.
Mac really hasn't been as bad as the numbers might indicate. Take Nashville game for example McDonagh said we left McElhinney out to dry. Our game was embarrassing, and that has happened a couple times he's been in there they play awful in front of him
