Why do you have Skinner waiving and Thompson still getring picked? If Skinner waives they can protect Eichel, Olofsson, Reinhart, Mittelstadt, Bjork, Asplund and Thompson...

Proceeds to trade Palat for a late 2nd

Even as a 1-year rental, Palat would fetch more than that on the market. I think they could reasonably ask and attain a 2nd and B prospect. What about trading Thompson and the Boston 2nd for Palat and then Seattle probably selects Eakin or Miller
