Description
They'll definitely be looking for a good 1C, like most teams. Henrique is pushing it as a 2C, really he would look better on a third line, but it is what it is.

Good amount of cap space to start, so they'll be able to get after just about any upcoming free agent this year.

First off-season sees 12M open up from Palat, Roussel, and Miller, with Kunin, Blais, Appleton, Lauzon, and Lagesson upcoming RFAs, should leave plenty to work with. I could see any of them traded off at the deadline even, as I don't see this team being quite as competitive as Vegas was in its inaugural season.

There are some big potenital UFA Cs that could come up that same off-season;
Barkov, Hertl, Zibanejad, Couturier .... however unlikely it is that any of them are available

I would guess lauzon is the pick. He’s been a regular and often has played on the first pair.

I’m not opposed to Kyl>Tanev. Problem is that is a rebuild move and the Flames won’t rebuild even though they should
