Tampa can't do this. I won't even talk about it from a salary cap perspective. Steven Stamkos isn't expected to be back until around the trade deadline. If this trade were to happen, Fippula and Point would be there top 2 centers. For a team that is expected to make a playoff push, having those two centering their scoring lines is the last thing they want.

I kind of think that STL - COL Trade is intriguing they get a Center to fill duchenes absence and they also get a future top 4 Defenseman who is 6'5
