I'm not convinced I prefer Simmonds to Brooks but I guess if they want the element he brings.

Most importantly no galchenyuk? He's been a pretty solid leaf.

I’m very thankful these are not the lines. I’ve never understood why Leaf fans do not want Hyman with Matthews and Marner. It is a legit top 5 line in the NHL (COL, CAR, EDM, BOS), I’m happy Keefe has them together.

Galchenyuk is one dimensional, he doesn’t play on the PP, doesn’t kill PK, and if you have in the bottom 6 he is a liability defensively. I can’t wait to see Foligno with JT and Willy.

The third line looks awesome. Kerfoot where he belongs on the LW, Nash is finally the true shutdown C this team has lacked, and the speedy Mikheyev in the wing.

The only one I would possibly take out is Simmonds since Brooks, Thornton, Spezza has been the best combination of a 4th line all year.

Besides at the end of a 2-1 game I can’t wait to see Keefe role out a Foligno Nash Hyman Brodie Muzzin combination to shut the game down.

Yeah I think Hutton has looked a lot better than Dermott in that short stint. So I'd keep him 3rd RD until Bogo is back
