Description

I don't think there's really an issue in finding teams with assets to trade for Eichel. The issue is finding teams with assets to trade for Eichel that still have the surrounding cast to compete for a cup after obtaining him. Could LA give up Byfield and do it? Sure, but Kopitar might finally descend to earth in a season or two, Doughty is already pretty bad, and all of a sudden you're 30 mil deep into the cap with only really Eichel to show for it, while you're simultaneously not filling up the roster with high-end talent from the draft anymore - cause it's gone into trading for Jack Eichel.

I think these teams suggested have rosters they can re-tool and compete with, even after obtaining Eichel. So in reality, I wouldn't suggest for Chicago to do this, but I still think they could.

He was better last season too if that helps. I'm saying in the 20 games or whatever he played he was way better.

I'm sorry you felt like your intellect was under attack, but I can't really take responsibility for that.

Not back any where. You’re wrong. Rantanen is better you want to refuse he scores at double the rate DeBrusk. He has better metrics in basically every category. Tell me a single GM that would outright swap the 2 straight up. Literally just one. Rantanen scores more. He has more assists. He has a better shooting percentage. He has a better corsi. He has better fenwick. Hell this year his +/- is +24 better. But you think you have found some altruistic measure of players. If that was the case that would be the only stat anybody cared about. Is it? I’m done don’t bother responding, because you won’t address why Rantanen has better numbers. Douche
