With a lot of talk about CBus going after a 1st line center, and with JD being hired back to work with Jarmo. What 1st line center could you see the Jackets making a big push for, and who do they have to give up?

Instead of trading for one, i'd say we find one in Free Agency. The one player i have my eye on the most is Phillip Danault.

I like Danault as a player, but now that he's a vet in the league I think it's safe to say that he isn't a first line center in the NHL for a team that wants to contend for a cup. I think we could use him as a 3rd line C, if he was willing to take a team friendly deal but if not, I don't see him being what the team needs.

I think CBJ might consider Kuznetsov if they can get him for a reasonable price, since despite his off ice stuff he is still incredibly talented.
