Two really late firsts, a goalie with 1 year left, an RFA one year from UFA, 1st next year from a team acquiring Eichel, and a prospect Yeah, this gets outbid. Easily. By 10+ teams. I'd rather do Eichel for Turcotte straight up.

I’m telling you man, don’t do this for Eichel.

The cost to get him is enough that it would hurt the team elsewhere. Not worth giving up our best F, as well as nearly two drafts worth of quality prospects, when we’ve been dealing with a depleted prospect pool for several seasons now.

All of this to make us…what, a fringe playoff team again?
