How so? I think it does, the two a young top five draft pick with a lot of potential in need of a fresh start, and checking forward for a 3rd next year, not a bad trade IMHO.

Considering both players from Vancouver are unwanted contracts, Canucks would need to pay to move them.

Also considering Virtanen’s alleged assault case, NJD probably stays clear of that for now.

I might have done it at the start of the season but now Virtanen is dealing with an assault case
