Yeah Vanek isn't taking no pay cut, Vanek will get about $3.5 million for 3 or 4 years according to McKenzie Holland plans on resigning Vanek and trying to trade Tatar this summer. He and his family love the Detroit area and he wants to stay.

Tampa wouldn't take on Jake Allen's $4.35 mil cap hit for him to be Vasilevskiy's backup on top of giving up a 3rd and 2nd rounder.
