Description

Its a bit of playing with fire when that close to the cap but if some bad contracts can be moved (Beleskey, Hayes, McQuaid, Miller etc.) they can pull this off. With the youth coming in and their main pieces signed long term. The Bruins at the very least would make the playoffs with a roster like this and at the moment that's their goal. The window is closing for players like Krejci,Bergeron, and Marchand, but these moves would make it a true transition rather than a patch up.

You talk about being close to the cap and bad contracts. You just added one more in Alzner at 7m. What he's a top ten Dman in the league?

In the description I said that this puts them close to the cap but all the core players are signed long term and Chara is off the books the next year.
