Elliot Friedman recently squashed the rumour that the Blues had interest in Elliot saying they will not re-aquire his services. Not sure FLA wants to give up McIlrath as they just acquired him, not to mention the Blues can pick up Griffith on waives right now. ARI would rather have draft picks for Hanzal not to mention that ARI wouldn't want to protect Yak so he will most likely be lost to LV in the expansion draft. Top trade looks good value wise if Shatty agrees on an extension beforehand.

The Hockey News said the Blues should re-acquire Elliott.
