Looks pretty good except Risto deal. It's an overpay even taking back the Ghost cap dump. Maybe lose the 2nd.

Guess have to see, big price tag but think Sam is worth every ounce of the assets you'd be giving up

Problem is that Philly needs defesive dmen and Ristolainen's defensive game isn't that good and doesn't fill our needs all too well. Other people can have their own opinion but this is why i think its not good idea to get him.

You have Reinhart going to a team he'd be interested in signing an extension with so the deal makes sense. He likely gets one piece less as a pure rental (from a team like Colorado) with the hopes of swlling him on staying.

Ya I think I'd take that deal as the Canucks. Of course I'd try to do it without the 3rd or Gadjovic but ultimately it'd be worth it

no doubt he is really good player.but i think that price would be too much for Jim Benning.he says hes gonna be aggressive so you never know.

Wild decline very easily. . If wild add fiala they aren't going to be adding much , like they aren't going to be trading both of their 1st round pick especially with one of NHL best scout in Judd brackett

Have to out bid other teams if you want to get Jack, you're wrong if you're going to say a team won't give up two firsts and a top prospect like Rossi. It's 4 assets, + a cap dump of Rask who is terrible. Seen Wild fans make very similar trades to this, and if I was the wild this is a deal I'd completely do

Rask has one year left which they can buy out very quickly and easily

It's been made clear our general manager isn't on the mindset of giving away draft picks since judd brackett came on board, so no I am not wrong

Other teams can overbid then . Never said wild won't include rossi, but wild will not give up both 1st round pick

Buyout keeps on your cap for a couple years, it's negative value....and the first round picks is where the line is drawn? You'd be foolish to make that the point in the trade to not go for, the first this year is in the 20s, plus it's a super weak draft especially out of the top 10....especially with not being able to watch many players. The 2022 pick is valuable, but it's going to be a late pick, especially if the wild get Jack. There's a difference in giving up draft picks for a rental or a decent player, and giving up picks for one of the best young players in the league
