Sabres fan here, it’s a respectable offer for Eichel. Probably needs a little more tweaking, add an additional 2 or three in there. The only other thing is that the 2022 should probably be protected if you’re LA. I don’t think you want to risk sending Shane Wright or Brad Lambert to Buffalo. Top 5 or 10 would be fair.
But I personally think LA should look at Reinhart first because they have a need. He can probably be had for a package of any two of Kupari, Thomas, or Kalyiev, and a protected first rounder if he re-signs. Reinhart is healthier, cheaper, and better for the cap.
I think the Kings will be interested in Eichel, but I think they will Balk at paying three guys ten million
Realistically Eichel should return about five to seven pieces and they are aiming for four of those pieces of assets that have close to first round value or talent. For them, it may end up being closer to the The deal above which has Turcotte as the center peice, and then Kempe and ****emo, who could be worth three seconds combined . The question is how do the Sabres value Kempe and would they rather have another prospect?
