Rask is a negative asset.

Eichel isn't worth much, but you think every Wild player is worth the moon. ok

Read what I said, I said rask sucks, & but is serviceable

Also, no team is going to give up two c prospects in a trade for eichel, especially wild

It doesn't matter whether you think he's serviceable. He's a negative asset. It would cost the Wild a pick to move him.

If all it took was 3 prospects and 1 late first for a top center every GM should jump on that. You always take the sure thing over some lottery tickets that you hope turn out to be good players. Especially a team like the Wild that is going no where without a top center.

He has like the cheapest buyout ever this summer with 1 year left, so you are just wrong

Rask sucks, & pisses me off like many wild fans but no one is trading the hardest position to find which c, , two of them.

If buffalo fans like yourself think , a team is going to give up two top c prospects for eichel, you are going to be waiting a long time wild aren't going to trade rossi then expect wild will trade / add on another c prospect

Eichel isn't a site thing considering he , doesn't matter what his situation is never brought a team to a playoff like McDavid.

Eichel is also in need of neck surgery, & no one knows the severity of his injuries, & how long or if he will recover

In professional sports, it's what have you done for me now.

> He has like the cheapest buyout ever this summer with 1 year left, so you are just wrong

His buyout leaves a caphit for this year and next year. Completely getting his contract off the books costs a pick. That's how it works.

> If buffalo fans like yourself think , a team is going to give up two top c prospects for eichel, you are going to be waiting a long time wild aren't going to trade rossi then expect wild will trade / add on another c prospect

Eichel is a top center. Those are never for sale. The only reason why he's available is the perfect storm of mismanagement. You'd be lucky if any of those prospects turn out to be even remotely close to Eichel. You also have 2 first round picks (potentially another with a Dumba trade) to easily add another 2 center prospects.

> Eichel isn't a site thing considering he , doesn't matter what his situation is never brought a team to a playoff like McDavid.

It's a team game if you weren't aware. Eichel doesn't play goaltender or defenceman. He's also not in control of the coach. Even someone at the level of McDavid playing with another MVP can't make it out of the first round. People said the same thing about ROR in Buffalo.

> Eichel is also in need of neck surgery, & no one knows the severity of his injuries, & how long or if he will recover

People are well aware of his injury. It's a neck herniation. A common injury in athletes. It has a high success rate and low re-injury rate

If there isn’t cap balancing in an eichel trade that’s a ding in value for him because it would force the wild to make other moves. So I would argue that drops his value. He’s still great but that 10m cap hit will be hard for any decent team to contain.

I am sure you thought the same thing of kaprizov as a prospect also right?

Your statement about prospects are just factually incorrect. At one time, Joel Eriksson Ek was a prospect, so you can't say that wild would be lucky if they turned out to be anything

So according to you a top 10 pick like Marco rossi won't turn out to be anything? According to you, Alexander khovanov who was selected before kaprizov would turn out to be nothing

If you are going to make that statement then you are saying it about every prospect

That he was unproven? Of course. He was a lottery ticket that worked out. Just like Alex Nylander was a lottery ticket that didn't work out.

Can you point to me where I said Marco Rossi won't turn out to be anything? I said you'd be lucky if he becomes even remotely close to Eichel, which is a borderline top 5 center. You're trying to spin that as me saying he's not going to become anything. You are arguing against something I didn't even say.

Michael Dal Colle was a prospect. Nail Yakupov was a prospect. Griffin Reinhart was a prospect.

Marco Rossi might just be a 3rd line center. Khovanov might just be a bottom 6 center. None of them are sure things. They are mystery boxes. You remind me of the Sabres fans that thought Mittelstadt was untouchable and a guaranteed top center when he was a prospect.

Wild will free room with the expansion draft and a likely Dumba trade. If they have the opportunity to get Eichel, they'll make the space.
