Description
Rambling:

This is what I am hoping for the off season. It would be nice if Ottawa could get Ovi, Hall, Landeskog on a short term deal with a high cap hit, but that would not happen.

The Wennberg signing is to replace Tierney and maybe fill in the top 6 if Pinto isn't ready. (I know he played well this year, but its just insurance)

I would also consider Ottawa trading Mete to Seattle to take Dadonov. Nothing against Dadonov, he had an unlucky season, he just does not fit on the team next season I believe.

I will say, I really like the idea of that 3rd line because Brown and Paul were always consistent last season and Formenton adds a lot of speed that teams would be worried about.

I think players like L. Brown, Kastelik, P. Kelly can fight for a roster spot, but I just left them off completely.

Ottawa's biggest need is a top 6 RW I believe, which is why I am hoping Ottawa somehow gets the 2nd pick and drafts Dylan Guenther or Chaz Lucius (what a name) if they dont win the lottery.

Because RNH is going to ask for 7M+ and only plays that well because of McDavid and Draisaitl. So Tierney can fill a bottom 6 or go on their wing and produce the same way on a cheaper deal.
