Imagine if they hadn't trading away picks......Instead of Kessel drafting Sequin and Hamilton
Instead of moving up in the draft to acquire Tyler Biggs, staying put and drafting Gibson and Rakell
Generally, poor drafting, poor trading and worse trading development of any team starting at the end the Cliff Fletcher era, then Quinn, then Burke then Nonis. Leafs ownership would have been wiser to ask CapFriendly participants their opinion on players value then the previous GMs I mentioned.

Not that I liked the guy, but in Nonis' defence he did pick Nylander when a lot of people questioned it (AT THE TIME!!!)
