Well I guess this is a post to say stay strong Blue Jacket fans… looks like Jones is gone, and it’s doubtful he is the last one to leave in the next few years. This team is in shambles and is about to go into a another massive rebuild and it looks like it’ll be a rough one. At least we finally got that first playoff round win!

At least Jarmo loaded up on the 1sts at the trade deadline this year. Jones theoretically could fetch a 1st and some more assets as a rental (as it looks like he may be to anywhere he's sent). Werenski still being under team control is big, whether that's keeping him or getting better value in a trade. Probably best course of action is to manufacture a tank season and hope for Wright in the 2022 draft.
