Description
Could swap where Pettersson and Riikola go. Guentzel locked up for 3 years, with a decent chance of Bertuzzi leaving in a year. Penguins get an upgrade in goal, cap space, and some TRUCULANCE without a huge drop in production.

As a Red Wings fan, sign me up. 👍 But why would the Pens do this? I like Bertuzzi but I'll take JG any day of the week over him.

Detroit says Hell Yes, Not sure why Pittsburgh does it though. Jake Guentzel > Tyler Bertuzzi.

Greiss, especially at half price, is much better than Smith and getting a 2nd for Pettersson is a steal. I'd still say yes pretty fast if I was Detroit....

That's a great deal for us, Not so much for Pitt though. Guentzel by himself should be worth far more then this offer.

Mostly gauging other team's fans thoughts on Guentzel, since he's been tied to Crosby most of his career. We are just too physically weak to make it out of the Metro in the playoffs with the current build.

Yeah i definitely don't see him putting up those kind of numbers in Detroit, He might be a 50-60 point winger for us if we get our act together. Honestly i think both Bertuzzi and Fabbri will be casualties for us as early as the next TDL as we need to open up spots for both Berggren and Raymond. So i would 100% make this trade even if we use Guentzel as a future trade chip.
